Problem Solving Area

Most computers can view these tours, on ocassion we get a computer that doesn't see a tour. This is because of two reasons. The first is that this computer does not have java installed. The second is that java is turned off.

PC Users: Look at the box below to see if java is currently active on your computer. If you see a red "X" then its not active. For a free install of java visit www.java.com and click on the download button. Then apply the changes and restart Internet Explorer.

Still have a problem? It may be that java is turned off. Go the start menu, Go to Control Panel, Click on Java, Click on Java tab, at Java Application Runtime click on view and click on enable. Then apply the changes and restart Internet Explorer.

Do you have Java? Check below.

If Java is working, you will see a pink box above with one line of text that says something like:

Java Version: 1.1.4 from Microsoft Corp.  or
Java Version 1.4.2_05 from Sun Microsystems Inc.  or
Java Version: 1.3.1 from Apple Computer, Inc.

Mac Users: Once in Safari, Click on Safari at the top and on the drop down menu select preferences, then click on security and click on Enable Java. You'll then need to refresh the page, or restart Sarfari. Look at the box below to see if java is currently active on your computer.

Our virtual tour solution is through Java-based viewing technology. It's what enables users to view tours without downloads or plug-ins. For the Virtual Tour to function properly on your computer it may be necessary to use to Internet Explorer (PC) or Safari (MAC).
